Romeo Beckham warns: ‘Don’t spread lies’
Secret A-list facelifts, Demi rips Kim, and did Beyoncé bow down to Mariah?
Hey, it’s The Spotlight — your personal front-row seat for all the hottest showbiz stories. Here’s what’s happening…
Romeo takes Beckham family feud public, warning: ‘Don’t spread lies’
So David and Victoria were playing nice in the alleged rift with their eldest son Brooklyn, sharing a bunch of Instagram messages about how much they love all their children. But seems like middle son Romeo just got tired of the sweet talk.
Romeo, 22, recently split from model and DJ Kim Turnbull, 24 – amid a storm of whispers that Kim once dated Brooklyn, 26.
Brooklyn’s wife Nicola was said to be majorly unhappy about Kim’s presence at family events.
Then yesterday, Kim put out a feisty statement saying there was never anything between her and Brooklyn other than ‘a school friendship at age 16’.
And Romeo seemingly rushed to her defence. Sharing a retro snap of Audrey Hepburn in 1953 film Roman Holiday, he wrote: ‘Be nice to people and don't spread unnecessary lies.’
But how likely is it that another spicy social media post will heal the feud between the reportedly warring Beckham bros?
Mariah and Beyoncé face off over an ultra-luxe hotel suite. Who blinks first?
Mariah Carey’s latest power move has us truly shook.
When Mariah, 56, touched down in London to play at Capital's Summertime Ball on Sunday, there was no shortage of epic hotel rooms to choose from.
But according to reports, Mariah only wanted the £25k-a-night suite at the Corinthia.
So guess who had to pack up their designer suitcases? None other than the equally iconic Beyoncé, in town for her Cowboy Carter tour.
(Don’t feel too sorry for her, though, she reportedly only went down the road to luxury hotel Claridge’s.)
A source claimed: ‘When Mariah flew in, Beyoncé packed up so Mariah could take over her suites. It was like Beyoncé was bowing down to another music queen.’
Of course, there are other explanations. Like, maybe Mariah’s team made her booking first?
Either way, we bet there was straight panic as the hotel concierge tried to keep the world’s two greatest divas happy.
Demi Lovato’s brutal rip of Kim K… from her honeymoon
Demi Lovato just took time out from her own honeymoon to poke fun at Kim Kardashian.
On Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim set a new low for first world problems when she lost her diamond earring in the ocean during a family trip to Bora Bora.
Demi, 32, lip synced to the iconic scene: ‘My earring’s gone! Oh my God I'm gonna cry! Oh my gosh, my earring.’
Her new hubby Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes played Kourtney with the ultimate savage response: ‘Kim, there's people that are dying.’
Can’t wait for the Kardashian-produced payback video.
Hollywood surgeon dishes on celebs having facelifts… in their thirties
How do stars get that crazy red carpet glow? Forget a little Botox or filler, a top A-list plastic surgeon revealed facelifts are back – and far more celebs may have had them than you realise.
We all saw the pics of Kris Kardashian looking uncannily like her daughter Kim (and Kris, credit to her, fessed up she had work done by ‘facelift maestro’ Steven Levine).
But many more stars are keeping quiet, according to Dr Deepak Dugar (he’s *the* nose job guy). He revealed a huge trend for stars to have face and neck lifts as early as their thirties.
Why? It’s all about a snatched jawline: ‘Many patients sometimes feel that a neck and facelift allows for a more defined jawline than they were naturally able to get, even at a younger age.’
Other stars rumoured to have undergone facelifts include Lindsay Lohan (she says it’s just Botox and carrot juice), Renee Zellweger (she slammed rumours way back in 2016), Anne Hathaway and Christina Aguilera (no comment from them).
Cardi B’s baby reveal (dripping in Louis Vuitton, naturally)
Proud mum Cardi B showed off her baby daughter Blossom for the first time, and the accessories game is fierce.
The eight-month-old sported a Louis Vuitton x Murakami scarf and played with a pile of bags by the designer.
Rapper Cardi, 32, also shared snaps of daughter Kulture, six, and son Wave, three.
No word on that request for her to pay spousal support to the kids’ dad, Offset, as their nasty divorce rumbles on…
Jason Isaacs lets slip White Lotus earnings; Ed Sheeran’s off the hook for plagiarism at last
You gotta love a celebrity who actually answers the interview questions. Shout out to Jason Isaacs, who just spilled that all White Lotus stars got $40,000 (£29k) per episode. More honesty: he thinks that’s a pretty ‘low price’ – but added: ‘The fact is, we would have paid to be in it. We probably would have given a body part.’
After a ten-year legal battle, the Supreme Court just made it official, official: Hitmaker Ed Sheeran didn’t copy Marvin Gaye’s 1973 banger ‘Let’s Get It On’ for his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’. The court declined to hear an appeal in the long-running copyright lawsuit.
Did Barbra Streisand sleep with legendary lothario Warren Beatty? Eh, she can’t remember
Barbra Streisand just claimed she ‘can’t remember’ if she had sex with, ahem, ‘prolific’ Hollywood lover Warren Beatty.
The diva, who’s now 83, said there are ‘certain things I block out’. Including a fling with one of the biggest (and at times, most controversial) leading men of the 20th Century? Respect, queen.
‘I know I slept in the bed with him, but I can't remember if we actually had penetration,’ Barbra mused. ‘I swear to God, I can't.’
We’re not sure how Warren, now 88, would feel about his lovemaking being so forgettable… and maybe that’s the point. He reportedly slept with nearly 13,000 women (though he says it was a lot less) — and there’s no way he can remember all of them.
Barbra added that the pair are ‘still friends’ and maybe he ‘remembers one way or another’. Warren, care to clear things up?
Meghan talks twerking – and why no one ‘tells the truth’
Two weeks on, Megs just spilled on why she dropped that twerking-in-the-labour-ward video.
In a teaser clip from an upcoming podcast, the Duchess of Sussex said she’s finally able to ‘share her authentic life’ on ‘her own terms’.
But wait, didn’t she and Harry quit royal duties so they could have more privacy, not less? Have her views changed now she’s outside the Windsor bubble?
Podcast host and Dragons’ Den star Emma Grede asked Meghan if she would do anything differently if she could ‘rewrite her public narrative from scratch’.
Megs replied: ‘Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth.’
Modern Family star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons just came out as bi with a surprising nod to Lily, her character in the show.
Lilo and Stitch actor David Hekili Kenui Bell tragically died at 46, less than a month after appearing in the Disney live-action film.
Matthew Perry’s doctor agreed to plead guilty to ketamine distribution after the Friends star’s overdose death. He faces up to 40 years’ imprisonment.
R Kelly’s lawyers said prison officials tried to plot his murder and requested his release. Prosecutors called the claim ‘deeply unserious’. He’s serving 31 years for crimes including child sexual abuse.
